Immunization drive in Bhagalpur
With a view to safeguarding infants including newborn babies and children besides pregnant women from several diseases, the district health department has embarked on an intensive vaccination drive under ‘Intensified Mission Indradhanush’ programme.
BHAGALPUR: With a view to safeguarding infants including newborn babies and children besides pregnant women from several diseases, the district health department has embarked on an intensive vaccination drive under ‘Intensified Mission Indradhanush’ programme.
Over 850 rounds of routine immunisation sessions are scheduled to be held at various PHCs, referral and sub-divisional hospitals besides the district hospital in Bhagalpur.
District Immunization Officer Dr Manoj Kumar Choudhary on Wednesday said the immunization is being done to prevent eight diseases.
