    COVID-19 News Updates: Delhi logs 1,422 fresh cases, zero fatality
    Delhi reported 1,422 fresh COVID-19 cases and zero fatality due to the viral disease on Sunday, while the positivity rate was recorded ta 5.34 per cent, according to data shared by the city health department. A total of 26,647 Covid tests were conducted in the national capital on Saturday, it showed.

    Sixty feared dead in Ukraine school bombed by Russia

    Russia's defence ministry said on Sunday it had destroyed a Ukrainian navy ship near Odesa with a missile strike overnight. The ministry said its missiles had hit a 'Project 1241' corvette, a class of Soviet missile corvettes with a NATO reporting name of Tarantul. Russia's air defences also shot down two Ukrainian SU-24 bombers and a Mi-24 helicopter over the Snake island in the Black Sea at night, the ministry said in a statement.

    Toll in cracker factory blaze in Saharanpur reaches 5

    With two more deaths, the death toll in a blaze in a firecracker factory here has reached five, police said on Sunday. A sudden fire had broken out in the factory, located in Sorana village in Sarsawa area on Saturday.     355 new Covid cases in Gurugram

    After reporting more than 400 Covid cases for three consecutive days, the district reported 355 new cases on Saturday, a drop of 24% from the previous day. A total of 469 new cases were reported from the city on Friday. The test positivity rate also dropped to 10.1% from Friday's 11.7%. The number of active cases, however, increased to 1,872 from the earlier 1,772. Of the total, 17 patients are hospitalised while the remaining 1,855 are recovering at home. As many as 255 people recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries to 2,66,600.
