One dies of Covid in Hardoi; 278 new cases

Lucknow: One person died of coronavirus infection in Hardoi district on Tuesday. With this, the total number of deaths in the state has reached 23,511 since the pandemic struck in 2020.
Health department officials said that the patient was suffering from medical co-morbidities which were aggravated by Covid-19.
Meanwhile, 278 fresh cases and 348 recoveries were reported in the past 24 hours.Upon adjustment, the state was left with 1,496 active cases across 60 districts. However, more than 66% of the active cases are located in just three districts: Gautam Budh Nagar (649), Ghaziabad (275) and Lucknow (105).
