Marc Anthony is engaged to Nadia Ferreira, former Miss Universe contestant

The couple announced their engagement at a party at Sexy Fish in Miami on Thursday, with Ferreira posting a photo of her huge diamond ring on Instagram.

Marc Anthony and model Nadia Ferreira are engaged, three months after making their romance official on Instagram.

The 53-year-old singer and 23-year-old former Miss Universe finalist announced their engagement on Thursday at a party at Miami’s Sexy Fish restaurant, and Ferreira shared a snapshot of her huge diamond ring on her Instagram account.

According to Ferreira’s Instagram, the couple spent the day before the party in Miami with friends, dining and partying on a boat, and toasting with champagne. The Sexy Fish bash was said to be held to commemorate the model’s 23rd birthday, which fell on May 10.

“They dined on a lavish dinner of sushi, oysters and caviar and appeared to be in an extremely celebratory mood, hugging and kissing throughout the night at an opulent table surrounded by friends,” a source.

“But the surprise came at the end of the dinner, when Nadia, wearing a skin-tight white dress, posted a picture on her IG showcasing a stunning diamond engagement ring with the caption ‘Engagement Partyyy’ with a ring emoji,” continues the source.

Following an outing in Mexico City earlier this year, Anthony and Ferreira fueled romance rumours, and they confirmed their relationship with an Instagram selfie taken on a flight in March. “Que Dios les multiplique todo lo que ustedes nos desean,”  the “I Need to Know” singer wrote in the caption of the image, which roughly translates to “May God multiply all that you wish us.”

Anthony had been married three times before to his romance with Ferreira. In 2000, he married former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, with whom he had two boys, Cristian and Ryan, before divorcing in 2004. Anthony started dating Jennifer Lopez the following year, and the two married in July 2004 before delivering twins, Max and Emme. They announced their break in 2011, and the divorce was finalised in 2014, although the ex-couples are now friendly co-parents.

In November 2014, Anthony married model Shannon De Lima. After two years of separation, the couple announced their divorce in December 2016 and finalised their divorce in February 2017. He was most recently publicly associated to Madu Nicola, with whom he shared a kiss on the red carpet of the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards, before declaring his relationship with Ferreira.
