Is Everton v Crystal Palace on TV? Live stream details and team news

Everton welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park on Thursday night knowing victory would secure the club's Premier League status (7.45pm kick-off).

The Blues missed the chance to confirm their safety when they lost 3-2 on Sunday at home to a Brentford side who benefited from two major refereeing decisions.

But Frank Lampard's team have another chance of securing their survival this evening when they welcome Crystal Palace to L4.

The match, arguably Everton's biggest in a generation, is sold out and there is sure to be an incredible atmosphere before, during - and hopefully - after it.

And here's everything you need to know.

Is the game on TV?

No. There are three Premier League fixtures taking place on Thursday night and Sky Sports have chosen to live broadcast the Aston Villa v Burnley match.

Burnley, like Everton, and Leeds United, are in a battle to beat the drop. Watford and Norwich City have already been relegated.

How Everton missed Conor Gallagher transfer opportunity as midfield decision looms

Evertonians will be able to sympathise with the bittersweet situation Crystal Palace are in ahead of Thursday's crucial clash between the two teams.

Back in 2013-14, the Toffees managed to secure the loan signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and the striker played a vital role in Roberto Martinez's side putting up a record Premier League points total for the club.

While there were raw edges to Lukaku's game that term, all the pieces were there for a world-class centre-forward to form. It felt like a massive long shot that the club would be able to prise him away from Stamford Bridge as a result, so fans cherished him while they could in the final embers of his loan term.

Crystal Palace fans will be having similar feelings about Conor Gallagher.

Kevin Thelwell must implement new Everton transfer strategy and Crystal Palace prove it

Evertonians are doing everything they can to avoid thinking about the Championship at the moment.

SkyBet adverts on television are prompting swift channel changes, Don Goodman's co-commentary on Championship games is sending shivers down the spine and even the ongoing second-tier Playoffs are a tough watch with safety not yet secured - it's hard to pick a team to back if you're unsure whether you'll be playing them next season.

Top-flight football for 2022-23 could and should have been boxed off already for Everton.

Everton 'eye' Jebbison

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Sheffield United youngster Daniel Jebbison according to Football League World.

Jebbison scored his first goal for the club against Everton last season aged just 17, becoming the youngest player to score in their first start in the Premier League.

He spent the first half of this campaign on loan at Burton Albion in League One and netted nine times in 23 appearances. He was recalled by the Blades in January but failed to score amid struggles for regular football.

If the Toffees were to complete his signing, there would be obvious parallels to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who also made the move from Bramall Lane to Goodison Park as a teenager after impressing in the Football League.

Frank Lampard details key to Everton's approach to 'historic' night at Goodison Park

Frank Lampard is preparing his side for the 'best version' of Crystal Palace ahead of what he believes could be an historic night at Goodison Park.

The Blues boss said he expected Patrick Viera's side to adopt a serious approach to Thursday's match, even though the visitors are in mid-table and face no threat of relegation - or any prospect of European qualification.

Nathan Broadhead included in Wales squad

Everton's Nathan Broadhead has been named in Wales' 27-man squad for their upcoming World Cup play-off final and UEFA Nations League fixtures.

CSKA Moscow confirm Jean-Philippe Gbamin departure

CSKA Moscow have confirmed Everton midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin will depart at the end of the season following the conclusion of his loan spell.

The Russian side confirmed in a statement on Thursday, saying: "The loan agreement with Everton FC is going to expire at the end of May.

"Jean-Philippe joined the club during the winter transfer window. The Ivorian midfielder made 12 appearances, scored one goal and was awarded the Man of the Match after the game against Rubin.

"We thank Jean-Philippe for their bright performances for the Red-Blues and wish all the best in his future career!"

'Unbelievable' - Patrick Vieira makes Everton Goodison Park atmosphere admission

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira knows his side are in for a 'tough game' when they visit Goodison Park to take on Everton on Thursday night.

Everton fans have turned up the dial both before and during games at home recently, with supporters showing up in their thousands and lining up on the street as the team coach makes its way towards Goodison Park.

This has led to the club changing the route to the stadium ahead of Thursday night's game to Palace in order to make things safer and to allow more fans to take part.

The pre-match antics played a major role in the hard-fought win against Chelsea and though it was repeated again before the Brentford game, the Toffees were on the wrong end of an agonising defeat. However, the mood around the stadium has changed as the season draws to a close and the club look to maintain their place in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace consider Everton travel decision after fireworks

In case you missed this from yesterday …

Crystal Palace are reportedly considering flying up to Merseyside just hours before Thursday’s Premier League clash at Everton to avoid being disturbed by fireworks during the middle of the night, according to the Daily Mail.

Everton head into the game knowing a win would secure their survival and Palace officials are rumoured to have made various plans amid concerns that their sleep could be disrupted ahead of their fixture. They are worried about people setting off fireworks during the early hours of the morning. Recent home games at Goodison Park against Chelsea and Brentford saw the visiting teams preparations disturbed as fireworks exploded outside their hotels during the night.

The reports say that Palace officials have made various plans including a last minute accommodation change at an unknown location outside of Liverpool, rumoured to be in the Manchester area, while flying up on the day of the game is also an option.
