Light rainfall at places bring relief to citizens

With Umaria, Rewa, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna and Khajuraho witnessing light rainfall relief from harsh weather conditions is on the cards, Bhopal also witnessed relief as the day recorded 40.8 degree celsius.

The weather conditions changed in the capital only after 24 hours. The gusty winds of 40 kmph on Saturday afternoon brought temperature down by 2.5 degree celsius and on Sunday it further dipped to sub 41 degree celsius

At the same time, the night temperature was recorded was recorded at 27.6 degree celsius which was at 29.6 degree celsius.

Changes in weather patterns have been observed in Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, it rained in many areas of the state. Rewa and Umaria recorded 2 mm of rain each. Apart from this, it rained at isolated places in Jabalpur, Gwalior, Satna and Khajuraho. This is seen as a pre-monsoon activity.

The maximum temperature has come down to 44. The highest temperature recorded was 43.8 degrees in Seoni.

Apart from this, it remained below 43 across the state. Bhopal recorded 40.8, Indore 37.7, Jabalpur 38.5 and Gwalior recorded 41.7 degrees Celsius. It has come down to 41 in most areas of the state.

In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rain in 12 districts of the state including Bhopal. In some cities, there may be strong winds along with thunderstorms. Light rain may occur in Indore till May 24.

According to the Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance (winds coming from Pakistan) will become active from today. This will also bring down the temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain of pre-monsoon will start across the state from Monday. Its effect will be on the entire state. This can lead to a rapid drop in temperature.

Light clouds and thundershowers are possible in Bhopal, Rewa, Sagar, Chambal, Jabalpur, Katni, Umaria, Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol, Gwalior, Datia and Shivpuri till evening. Light showers are possible in the next 24 hours.

There is a possibility of light rain with strong winds for three to four days. Light rain has occurred in Bhind, Sheopur Kalan, Shivpuri, Morena, Gwalior, Datia, Guna, Katni, Panna, Umaria, Balaghat, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Damoh, Shahdol, Sagar, Amarkantak and Bandhavgarh in the last 24 hours.
