Tamilnadu Petroproducts post an rise in net profit in FY22
Chennai: Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL), a Chennai based Petrochemical manufacturing company and part of AM International - Singapore, posted an increase in net profit for FY22 when compared with the previous year.
A statement on Monday said, the company’s net profits registered Rs 170.6 crore (in FY 21-22) as compared to Rs 121.6 crore in FY20-21.
During the last quarter of FY22, the net profit was Rs 23.8 crore. The lower profit was mainly due to LAB (Linear Alkyl Benzene) annual turnaround maintenance undertaken during the quarter, the statement added. The PAT during Q4 of FY21 was Rs 62.7 crore.
Ashwin Muthiah, vice chairman — TPL and founder chairman, AM International, Singapore said, “Navigating geopolitical risks will be crucial to our success in the future, alongside delivering financial performance.”
