Lucknow: In Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested four prize money miscreants after an encounter. Jaunpur Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Sahni has informed that the police arrested four miscreants after an encounter last night at Babura Mor of Badlapur Kotwali area. Two miscreants have been shot in the leg in the encounter. During the encounter, a soldier was also injured when the miscreants opened fire. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.

Ajay Kumar Sahni said that Inspector Yogendra Singh, in-charge of Badlapur police station, had gone out on patrol on Sunday night with the soldiers. During this, the informer informed that six miscreants are going from Singramau side towards Badlapur to carry out some major incident. On receiving the information, the Inspector-in-Charge called the Inspector-in-Charge Singramau Kamlesh Kumar for help. The police of both the police stations put up a blockade near Babura Mor, after a while two different bikes were seen coming.

After which the police asked them to stop, then the bike riders opened fire on the police team. In retaliation, two miscreants, Monu Yadav, a reward of 10 thousand rupees and Rajkumar Yadav, resident of Dadwa police station, Badlapur, hit their feet and they fell from the bike. Police laid siege to the injured and their two accomplices Kallu alias Satish Yadav, resident of Molnapur and Saurabh Yadav alias Vakil, resident of Dadwa, while two other miscreants fled taking advantage of the darkness.
