Lucknow: In Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, the news of attack on the house of a woman member of the BJP is coming to the fore. The attackers threw stones at the house of the member. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and arrested five people. The miscreants pelted stones at the house of the BJP member, in which the woman councilor and her husband escaped and saved their lives.

After getting the information, the city police reached the spot, arrested five youths and started interrogating them. On the other hand, the entire incident of stone pelting at the house has been captured in the CCTV camera installed there, its footage has been handed over to the police. Let us inform that the house of Vandana Gupta, a woman councilor of Mohalla Patel Nagar Western Ward of Gonda, was attacked with stones late on Monday night. Councilor Vandana Gupta along with several BJP leaders met the Superintendent of Police and lodged a report against the accused.

The councilor has given a complaint about this matter to the Nagar Kotwali. Police has registered a report on the basis of Tahrir. Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Mishra said that it was informed at one o'clock in the night by the member Vandana Gupta that some people were pelting stones at the house. Police reached the spot and arrested five people. A case is being registered against all of them and being sent to jail, during interrogation it was found that the youths had consumed alcohol.
