Berhampur: As many as 38
young IAS officers and two probationers of Royal Bhutan Service witnessed the different development activities undertaken by the
Ganjam administration during their three-day visit to the district.
IAS officers of the 2021 batch, who are undergoing training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Musoorie, visited Ganjam under the Bharat Darshan programme.
On the first and second day, the young
IAS officers visited Berhampur,
Tara Tarini temple, Tampara lake near Chhatrapur, Jaugada, the site of an Asokan rock edict, and different villages in Hinjili, the assembly constituency of chief minister
Naveen Patnaik.
On Wednesday, they are scheduled to visit Gopalpur-on-Sea to witness the development activities and cyclone shelters and some other works undertaken by Mission Shakti in Ganjam block.
Before their field visit, they met officials of the district administration.
