Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, the farmer will not only be given proper compensation in lieu of the land, but will also get a share in the industry on that land. This new model of land pooling has been approved by the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet. It is being described as a unique model in the country.  The cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that several important decisions were taken in the meeting. In the second phase of industrial development in Indore-Pithampur Investment Region, 500 hectares of land will be acquired from 2021 to 2023 on the basis of mutual clearance. It will be its own kind of unique model of land pooling. The farmer will also become a shareholder in that institution. Whatever industry will come up, the farmer will also be able to participate in it. Shivraj government has done justice to the farmers by taking this decision.

There was a lockdown in the entire country to stop the spread of Corona. At that time, private bus operators were also asked to stop their services. The vehicle taxes levied from them have been exempted. This will put a burden of Rs.130 crore on the Madhya Pradesh Government. The Cabinet has approved the setting up of 330 MW more power project from Bhandar assembly constituency in Datia district. The company has proposed to set up an 83 MW solar project on the land. For this, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will be created.
