To make people aware about this, World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year on this day i.e. 14th June. Every year 10 million blood units are needed in our country.
Why celebrate World Blood Donor Day: On June 14, Nobel Prize winner Karl Landsteiner was born. It was these scientists who completed the discovery of the ABO blood group system. World Blood Donation Day is celebrated on the birthday of Karl Landsteiner, who traced blood groups. Before the discovery of blood groups by Karl Landsteiner, blood transfusions were performed without group information. For this discovery, Karl Landstein was also awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930.
A public blood donation camp and a healthy camp have been organized by Santaji Youth Circle in Khetia Nagar of Pansemal in Barwani district. In which 51 blood donations took part and with the special cooperation of Dr. Prajakta Patel and her team from Life Care Hospital, Shahda and with the support of the Shahda Blood Bank team, a successful event was organized. On this occasion, Choudhary Samaj President Ashok Shinde, Vice President Govinda Chaudhary, Sahebrao Chaudhary, Krishna Chaudhary (Anna), former Circle President Shyam Harsola, Councilor Prakash Mahle, Councilor Anil Chaudhary, Blood Donation Committee Khetia President Raja Chaudhary, Jojo Chaudhary, Ankit Chaudhary, Pappu Choudhary, Arihant Choudhary, Gopal Choudhary etc. youths were present.
