Bhopal: There is a respite from the heat wave in Madhya Pradesh at the moment, though the humidity is disturbing at many places. The hottest in the state was straight. The hottest night was recorded in Datia. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Umaria, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni districts.  

According to the report of the Meteorological Centre, the districts of Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Sagar, Narmadapuram, Gwalior and Ujjain divisions recorded rainfall at isolated places due to the last 24 hours. 2 in Singrauli, Bilhari, Malajkhand, Chhapra, Birsa, Raghogarh have received up to 1 cm of water. The forecast of the Met Department for the next 24 hours states that rain or showers may occur at several places in the districts of Shahdol, Jabalpur divisions, narmadapuram at some places in the districts of Rewa, Sagar divisions, districts of Bhopal division and burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Dhar, Dewas, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Sheopurkalan districts. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Umaria, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni districts. The department has issued a yellow alert for here. At the same time, the alert has predicted lightning and strong winds in the districts of Rewa, Sagar, Narmadapuram divisions and in anuppur, Shahdol, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Raisan, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Dhar, Dewas, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Sheopurkalan districts.  

The same Meteorological Department data shows that the day's mercury has reached below 40 degrees in most of the districts of the state. The hottest in the state was straight. Sidhi recorded 43, Gwalior 42.8, Datia 42.6, Khajuraho-Narsinghpur 42, Satna 41.9, Seoni 41.6, Nagaon 41.5, Rewa 41.4, Damoh 41, Umaria 40.7. Talking about the minimum temperature, the night temperature still remains above 30 degrees in many cities. The hottest night was recorded in Datia. Datia recorded 33.5, Gwalior 33, Sidhi 31.6, Rewa 31.4, Nagaon 30.8, Umaria 30.4, Damoh 30, Jabalpur-Satna 29.6 degrees.
