GB Nagar students on top in HS, Banda in intermediate

Prayagraj: In the class 10 and 12 results of UP Board announced on Saturday, students of Prayagraj region comprising Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh and Fatehpur were quite impressive in terms of class 12. However, in class 10, the students of the region failed to make a good impression. According to the results shared by the Board officials on Saturday, out of 28 meritorious students of class 12, 11 students of the region featured among the top 10 merit-holders.Of these, six were from Fatehpur, three from Prayagraj and two from the neighbouring Pratapgrah district. The topper, among the top 10 students of the merit list of class 12, Divyanshi of Jai Maa SGMIC, Radha Nagar, Fatehpur made the region proud by scoring 95.40% of marks. Likewise, Anshika Yadav of Bachha Ram Yadav Inter College, Bhulai Ka Pura, Prayagraj secured second position in the overall top 10 merit list of class 12. Similarly, Jeeya Mishra of Koraon scored fourth position. Anchal Yadav scored 4th position. Likewise, Ravi Prakash Mishra of Pratapgarh secured 8th position and Aastha Singh, also of Pratapgarh ,scored 9th position in the overall top 10 merit list.
In terms of performance of the 75 districts of the state for class 12th Board, Banda topped the merit list by overall passing percentage of 95.32%, Hamirpur with 93.01 and Lucknow with 92.16% came second and third, respectively. Ghaziabad with 92.12% was at number four and Amroha with 91.95% was at number five. Likewise, Barabanki with 91.6% was at number 6, Mohoba with 91.51%, Unnao with 91.35%, Siddharth Nagar with 91.34% and Kushinagar with 90.76% of overall percent followed. In terms class 12 result of Prayagraj region, Prayagraj stood at number 11 with 90.74%, Kaushambi at number 25 with 88.04%, Pratapgarh at number 64 with 82.14% and Fatehpur was at number 69 with 79.31%. In the merit list of top 10 students of class 10 results, just three students of Prayagraj region featured in the merit list. Astha Singh of Shri BP Singh Balika school, Naini stood at number four while Astha Tiwari of Koraon scored 10th position. Likewise, Roshni Nishad of Jai Maa SGMIC, Fatehpur stood at number 9 position.
Likewise, in class 10th district wise position, Gautam Budh Nagar was at top with an overall pass percentage of 95.58%, Etawah was at number 2 with 93.71% Amethi was at number 3 with 93.51%, Shamli at number 4 with 93.41% and Ghaziabad was at number 5 with 93.05%. Likewise, Amroha was at number 6 with 93.03%, Lucknow was at number 7 with 91.85%, Agra and Meerut shared the number 7 position with 91.84%.
In terms of Prayagraj region district, the district was at number 23 with 89.93%, Pratapgarh at number 30 with 89.14%, Fatehpur at 52 with 86.65% and Kaushambi was at number 55 with 86.37% of overall pass percentage.
