Bhopal: The monsoon is becoming active in Madhya Pradesh. Rain continues in many parts of the state after the onset of the monsoon. The MET department has also predicted rain in several districts of the state today. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall in 12 cities of the state has been issued by the MET department.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Chhindwara, Sagar, Panna, Chhatarpur, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Betul, Gwalior, and Datia districts to the MET department. While moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur in Bhind and Morena districts. Apart from this, about 10 cities of the state are also likely to be showered with rain or thundershowers.

The southwest monsoon has now reached Burhanpur, Khandwa and Betul districts. It is being said that this monsoon may also reach Indore in the next one to two days. While the monsoon is becoming active in other parts of the state. Let us know that around June 15, the southwest monsoon through Burhanpur and Khandwa had entered Madhya Pradesh, after which it has been raining.
