Four arrested for looting courier firm staffer of ₹62L

Rajkot: Four people were arrested for looting an angadiya firm employee of Rs 62.5 lakh in a state transport bus while going from Rapar to Morbi a few days ago.
Mahadev Waghmare of Ishwar Bechar Angadiya was going to Morbi to deliver cash. When the bus stopped for refreshments at a highway hotel, two people who were travelling with him took away his bag and escaped.
The Morbi local crime branch (LCB) caught Hariprasad alias Haresh Ramanandi, Sonu Singh Parmar, Bhavesh Thakker and Karanbha Gadhvi. The accused were caught based on CCTV footage.
Two others, namely Sagar alias Gajra Singh Tomar and Balu Kushwaha, who took the cash, are yet to be arrested. Both are natives of Madhya Pradesh. The police have also seized two pistols and eight cartridges from the accused.
The police said that Gadhvi gave his vehicle to the duo from MP and also arranged for their stay, while Thakker conducted the recce and provided inputs about Waghmare's movements. Ramandi had gone to drop Balu and Sagar at Rapar bus depot and they sat in the bus to target Waghmare.
Sagar was following the bus on a bike.
