Lucknow: Police have arrested Mohammad Waleem, accused of threatening to blow up a court in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya district with a bomb. The threat was sent to a letter in which rashid's name was written. While examining the threatening letter, the police reached out to the accused Walim. The accused, Valim, works as a munshi in the same court. Ayodhya police has informed about the action taken in the case on June 17, 2022 (Friday).

Ayodhya SSP Shailesh Kumar said, "After receiving the letter, the police identified Rashid and interrogated him. From his words, he thought someone wanted to trap him. When we got to the bottom of the case, The name of Mohammed Waleem came up in this entire case. When he was taken into custody and interrogated, he confessed to sending the letter. He is now being sent to jail. According to the Ayodhya police, the accused, Walim, was arrested on June 16 from the court premises at 6 pm. According to the police, "An FIR was lodged as soon as the letter to blow up the court campus in rashid's name was received. The letter bears the name of Rashid Ali, a resident of village Dostpur in Sohawal tehsil. Rashid and Valim were having a dispute over money. For this reason, Valim posted the letter in rashid's name. The letter was sent from the post office of the court itself. '
The police further said, "The accused, Mohammed Waleem, is himself a munshi in the court. His age is about 38 years. Originally a resident of village Jaganpur police station Raunahi, Walim worked near shed number 6 of Kachehri. He wrote the threat letter with his own hand. Action has been taken against Valim under Section 506 IPC along with 7 Criminal Law Amendments. '
