Overturned travel trailer snarls I-5 traffic in Olympia

OLYMPIA, Wash. — Northbound I-5 in Olympia was backed up for miles after a crash involving travel trailer.

The Washington State Department of Transportation reported the crash near Henderson Boulevard Northeast at 3:53 a.m. on Tuesday.

The trailer rolled over in the crash, blocking two lanes.

A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the trailer, but due to the damage, a trailer was needed to haul the crashed travel trailer away.

All lanes were back open by 9 a.m., but WSDOT said backups on northbound I-5 reached Tumwater Boulevard and Crosby Boulevard on US 101.
