TDP national spokesperson Pattabhi Ram makes allegations against minister Peddireddi and other leaders

Tirupati : TDP national spokesperson K Pattabhi Ram made serious allegations on minister for energy, forests and environment Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy that he had become care of address for land grabbing in Chittoor district.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Pattabhi welcomed CM's comments that he will not tolerate land grabbing incidents in the state and questioned why he was not responding to the land grabbing and illegal mining activities by YSRCP leaders in Chittoor district.

Minister Ramachandra Reddy has been resorting to illegal mining in Kuppam constituency through his followers. Though TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has complained with evidence, there was no response from the government, he alleged.

Even the National Green Tribunal has confirmed that illegal mining has been taking place there, he said. Pattabhi also said that in GD Nellore mandal Rs 50 crore worth land was encroached by YSRCP leaders in one week time. In Madanapalle also crores of rupees worth government properties are getting registered in the name of private persons.

Though tanks are being encroached in Punganur limits no official was responding. In Tirupati, YSRCP leaders are trying to grab Rs 10 crore worth of Khadi Board land. Similarly, Rs 400 crore worth lands in Piler and Rs 20 crore worth lands in Thottambedu have gone into the hands of YSRCP leaders, he alleged.

Pattabhi questioned whether the CM would be able to see the irregularities of Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, minister R K Roja and Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunkar Reddy.

He said that after coming to power, TDP will order an inquiry into all land grabbings of the YSRCP leaders and punish the guilty. TDP Tirupati in-charge M Sugunamma and Tirupati parliament president G Narasimha Yadav were also present.
