Pansemal:- As part of the free eye check-up camp at primary health centre of Khetiya Nagar, a camp was organized at Community Health Centre Pansemal and Primary Health Centre Khetia in the vicinity of Choithram Nethralaya, Indore by examining the eyes of women and male patients from rural areas including the city for eye cataract operations.  

Under which, 20 patients from Barwani district were identified from Pansemal, 30 from Khetia by conducting a survey for cataract. Out of which 11 patients were sent from Pansemal and 19 from Khetia to Choithram Nethralaya, Indore for operation. Free eye camps are being organized continuously at health centres Pansemal and Khetia, people are getting benefits.  

The efforts of Block Medical Officer Dr Arvind Kirade along with choithram netralaya team were commendable. The survey, conducted for cataract, was attended by the team from the health department including Dr Arvind Kirade, ophthalmology assistants Dr Ram Kushwaha and Dr Jainarayan Kushwaha, lab technician Sunil Badane in the community health centre Pansemal team. According to information received from Dr Kirade, the camp will be held again in the month of July at government hospitals at Pansemal and Khetia.
