Gujarat: Fresh spike in Vadodara with 41 new Covid-19 cases

Another spike was witnessed in Covid-19 cases in the city and district with 41 new cases being reported from 1,108 tests conducted in the 24 hours ending on Wednesday evening.

VADODARA: Another spike was witnessed in Covid-19 cases in the city and district with 41 new cases being reported from 1,108 tests conducted in the 24 hours ending on Wednesday evening.
The number of active cases also crossed 200 on the day.
The number of new cases reported on Wednesday was the highest after February 24. The new cases include 16 from the west zone, 12 from the north zone, six from the south zone and five from the east zone.
Areas of the district outside city limits reported two new cases.
The affected localities include Diwalipura, Gotri, Manjalpur, Subhanpura, Bhayli, Kapurai, Gajrawadi, Navidharti, Danteshwar, Sama, Chhani, Asjol, Gorwa, Tandalja, Navayard, Harni, Fatehpura, Bapod and Makarpura.
Against the 41 new cases, 18 persons were discharged leaving 201 active cases. The active cases include seven who are hospitalised. One of the indoor patients is on oxygen support.
