Singhania Sports Academy beat Unique Club by 7 runs

Kanpur: Singhania Sports Academy defeated Unique Club by 7 runs in a thrilling final and emerged as winner of B division KDMA league which concluded at the Green Park stadium here on Wednesday.
The Academy, batting first, scored 9 for 169 in the stipulated 30 overs. Shubham Gupta and Alok Yadav were the main scorers who contributed 63 and 38 runs respectively.Ashutosh Kumar bagged 3 wickets.
Unique Club in reply could score 8 for 162 runs in the allotted 30 overs. Ashutosh Kumar hit 51 runs for his side while Mohd Danish and Abhishek Yadav picked 2 wickets each.

Under-16 trials: Kanpur Cricket Association will conduct under-16 trials for UPCA’s 2022-23 session at KDMA International School Barra- 8 Kanpur on June 24 and 25, said Alok Gupta, secretary KCA. The cricketers whose name begins with English alphabet A to P will appear for trial on June 24. The players from R to Z and those of Kannauj and Kanpur Dehat can take part in the trials on June 25, he informed. Interested cricketers are required to reach KDMA International School at 7 am on the due date, he added.
