FRANKENLUST TWP, MI -- In response to a growing interest and the growing need for flexibility and convenience of online classes, Delta College is working to expand its online degree and certificate programs.

Eduardo Suniga, dean of Career Education and Learning Partnerships for Delta, said some students prefer online learning for a variety of reasons, including affordability and accessibility.

Delta will be offering 17 completely online degree and certificate programs in the fall of 2022 and hundreds of other online classes, so students can learn when and where they want. These online options are designed to be easily accessible and conveniently fit into the busy schedules of full-time and part-time students.

“Online learning is essential to today’s education,” said Suniga.

“It has grown significantly over the last decade, and since the pandemic, it has grown exponentially. Our online programs are designed for individuals who are self-motivated, self-disciplined, and committed to learning, and we make sure students receive the same personal attention and quality education that Delta is known for providing.”

Associates degrees the college will be offering online this fall include:

  • Business Information Technology
  • Criminal Justice Corrections
  • Cybersecurity
  • Digital Forensics
  • Entrepreneurship
