43 new Covid-19 cases reported in Vadodara

The steady rise in Covid-19 cases in the city and district continued with 43 new Covid-19 cases being reported on Thursday. The new cases were reported from 2,031 tests conducted during the 24 hours ending Thursday evening.

VADODARA: The steady rise in Covid-19 cases in the city and district continued with 43 new Covid-19 cases being reported on Thursday. The new cases were reported from 2,031 tests conducted during the 24 hours ending Thursday evening.
The new cases include 40 persons residing in the city limits and three from outside city limits. The cases were reported from Diwalipura, Gotri, Manjalpur, Subhanpura, Bhayli, Gorwa, Harni,Makarpura, Atladara, Jetalpur, Chhani and other areas of the city and district.

The west zone of the city continued to report the highest number of cases with 23 testing positive for Covid-19 from this zone. This was followed by eight from the north zone, seven from the south zone and two from the east zone.
The number of active cases increased to 214 even as 30 persons were discharged on Thursday. The active cases include eight in hospitals. Two of the indoor patients needed oxygen support.
