Lucknow: In view of friday prayers, the police and administration in Uttar Pradesh have once again been alerted. Police carried out flag marches around important places and shrines in all sensitive cities and assured people about the security arrangements. Today is the Jumei prayer and for all to be peaceful, the police are marching on the road.

Additional police force has been deployed to sensitive districts as a precautionary measure for friday prayers. 24 districts including Kanpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Sambhal, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Agra, Hathras, Firozabad, Aligarh have been declared hyper sensitive. Tight security arrangements have been made under the Sector Security Plan in all the districts. In Mathura, a large number of police forces carried out flag marches on all the routes leading to Shri Krishna Janma sthal and Shahi Idgah Masjid. Strict security arrangements have been made in Mathura in view of the Jumei prayers. In Deoband, one of the most sensitive cities, the police have also become alert. The Deoband SDM and CO are leading and a large number of police forces are also present behind it.

Police carried out flag marches in several areas around Darul Uloom Chowk. Thousands of namazis come to the Rashidia Masjid in Deoband every Jumei, so the police are on alert mode. There is a system of videography and every person is being monitored with drone cameras. In Noida also, the police held a flag march to instill confidence that security arrangements would be strengthened.
