Lucknow: 18 bus stations on public private partnership mode soon

Charbagh, Amausi and Gomtinagar (Vibhuti Khand) bus stations will be among the 18 bus stations that the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will develop on public private partnership (PPP) mode.

LUCKNOW: Charbagh, Amausi and Gomtinagar (Vibhuti Khand) bus stations will be among the 18 bus stations that the UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) will develop on public private partnership (PPP) mode.
Minister of state for transport (independent charge) Dayashankar Singh said that the process has already started and bids will be invited soon through e-tendering.

The other bus stations that will be developed under the 100-day work of the department are Civil Lines (Prayagraj), Mathura (Old), Sahibabad, Ayodhya, Kanpur Central, Varanasi Cantonment, Transport Nagar, Agra Fort and Idgah (Agra), Meerut, Kaushambi (Ghaziabad), Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur and Aligarh.
The proposal will soon be sent to the government for approval. Once the proposal is approved by the government the bids will be invited.
The budget 2022-23 had made provisions for the scheme.
