Dr G K Pal to be executive director of AIIMS-Patna

Patna: Dr G K Pal has been appointed the new executive director of AIIMS-Patna. He was professor of physiology at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduation Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) at Pondicherry.
Dr Pal, an expert of cardiovascular physiology and autonomic neurophysiology, was also working as the dean of faculty of medicine at JIPMER. He also held the position of programme director and faculty in-charge of Advance Yoga Centre there.He has about 220 research papers to his credit and published in various national and international journals.
AIIMS-P’s acting medical superintendent Dr Prashant Kumar Singh said the executive director of AIIMS Deoghar, Dr Saurabh Varshney, was holding additional charge of the executive director at the Patna hospital.
