LUCKNOW: Despite chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s emphasis on public hearing and disposing of people’s grievances at the earliest, there are departments where public complaints as old as six years are pending. As if this is not enough, there are departments where six-year-old complaints are yet to be marked to anyone.
While the CM continues to focus on quick redressal of public grievances, officials do not seem to be affected.
Take for instance the revenue department. A total of 186 complaints are pending since 2017. Similarly, 631 complaints are pending since 2018, and 613 are to be resolved since 2019, a huge number of 936 complaints are pending since 2020 and 632 since 2021, data suggests.
