FORMER Oxford United loanee Nathan Holland has joined Sky Bet League One rivals MK Dons.

The winger moves to Stadium:MK on a permanent deal following his release by Premier League side West Ham United at the end of last season.

Holland’s previous League One experience came with the U’s, making 45 appearances in the third tier across two loan spells.

The first, in early 2020, saw the youngster play 12 games in all competitions, scoring three goals.

Holland returned for a season-long loan in 2021/22, finding the net six times in 39 matches.

The 24-year-old worked with MK head coach Liam Manning in West Ham’s youth set-up and is excited for the opportunity.

He told Dons' official website: “It’s something that has been in the pipeline for a few weeks so to get it over the line is great and I am looking forward to the opportunity.

“I met with Liam Sweeting and Liam Manning and they told me what they are looking to do here and it is something that really excited me.

"It’s an opportunity I will be looking to grab with both hands.

“It was a big decision for me this summer and one that I have taken my time over.

"This is a fresh opportunity for me and I am glad it’s here with MK Dons.”

MK finished third in League One last season, losing in the play-off semi-finals, while United ended the campaign eighth.
