Lucknow: Digital infrastructure in remotest areas our objective says Minister Kumar Vineet

LUCKNOW: Stressing upon the importance of technological interventions for good governance, special secretary of the IT and electronics department and managing director of UPDESCO (Uttar Prades Development Systems Corporation Ltd), Kumar Vineet shared his thoughts at the The Economic Times e-Governance Summit that took place on Friday in Gomtinagar.
Kumar said the government has already embarked upon a project to connect all villages in the state to the internet. Sharing the challenges being faced by various government departments, Kumar said providing digital infrastructure to provide e-government services in the remotest part of the state is going to be the next objective of the government and the IT department.
