The cyber crime police successfully blocked an amount before it could be transferred to the cyber crooks through a banking channel after Dr TKM Ishwar reported losing Rs 1.2 lakh to cyber crooks.

RAJKOT: The cyber crime police successfully blocked an amount before it could be transferred to the cyber crooks through a banking channel after Dr TKM Ishwar reported losing Rs 1.2 lakh to cyber crooks. He said he got a link on email to recharge his Netflix subscription and when he filled the form and submitted, within minutes Rs 1.2 lakh got debited from his credit card.He soon contacted cops.
