Kerala reports 3,378 new Covid cases

Thiruvananthapuram: The state has reported 3,378 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, with six more deaths confirmed due to Covid.
The test positivity rate at present is 17.19% and the average TPR for the last seven days is 17.15%.
Ernakulam recorded most positive cases in the state on the day with 863 cases, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (753).
The other districts that reported more Covid cases on the day are Kottayam (407), Kollam (287), Pathanamthitta (211) and Kozhikode (189).
The total number of active cases at present is 26,904, of which 6,855 are in Ernakulam, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (6,551), Kottayam (2,760), Kollam (2,075), Kozhikode (1,658), Pathanamthitta (1,556) and Alappuzha (1,481).
From June 20 to 25, the state reported 22,180 Covid-19 cases, of which over 4,000 cases were reported on two days - June 21 (4,224) and June 24 (4098).
