Detained activist-journalist Teesta Setalvad undergoes medical check-up in Ahmedabad

Indian civil rights activist and journalist, Teesta Setalvad on June 26 was taken for a medical checkup at Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. On June 25, Gujrat ATS detained her for faking 2002 Gujrat riot evidence.Post checkup she said, "They have done my medical. I have a big bruise on my hand, this is what the ATS did to me. They are taking me to the magistrate's court."
