Kendall Jenner is making her stance on abortion and women's healthcare clear again as The Kardashians star called out the supreme court for its "disturbing" decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. In 1973, the supreme court made the landmark decision that the United States Constitution protected women's liberty to choose to have an abortion. However, on Friday, the decision was overruled by pro-life supreme court justices who believe abortion is murder. Many citizens are furious, especially since the same government officials who claim to be pro-life have done little to stop the 200 plus mass shootings that have occurred in the United States in 2022 so far.

The Kar-Jenners haven't always been clear about their politics, but there have been times when they've made their political stance known. In May, Kendall's name appeared on Planned Parenthood's #BanOffOurBodies campaign along with best friend Hailey Bieber and other celebrities like Shawn Mendes and Selena Gomez. The model also shared her political beliefs in November 2020 when she shared her excitement over President Joe Biden's victory on social media. Also, in 2018, Kendall, Hailey, and actor Will Smith's son Jaden Smith supported gun control laws by attending the March for Our Lives protest in Los Angeles.

With the news of Roe v. Wade being overturned, Kendall is making her opinion known again. Kendall took to her Instagram story to share a New York Times post about the decision and captioned it, "disturbing...disappointing...devastating." The New York Times post explaining the Supreme Court's decision currently has over 450 thousand likes and comments from heartbroken and worried Americans. Kendall's sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, have also shared posts to their Instagram stories about the decision.

Along with the Kar-Jenners, many celebrities and politicians are sharing their whirlwind of emotions after hearing the news. Former President Barack Obama and Former First Lady Michelle Obama both put out statements regarding the supreme court decision. Siesta Key star Juliette Porter and Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi shared their grief on Twitter. Superstar Taylor Swift, who first got political in 2018, shared a statement on her Twitter about how upsetting it is to see women's rights being reversed in 2022.

While sharing an Instagram post may not impact the Supreme Court's decision, it does let fans know they are not alone and that their favorite celebrities, like the Kar-Jenners, are grieving with them. History has shown that when citizens band together, change is made, so every time an influential person speaks out on politics, it does help, even if only in a minimal way. Despite The Kardashians star's privilege, when it comes to politics, she's struggling too, and there's power in her social media posts. For all those feeling hopeless right now, Kendall has let them know that she's on their side.
