MSU’s Experimental School to get teachers
Vadodara: After much delay, MS University has taken a step to address the severe dearth of teachers that its Experimental School is facing. Even as the new academic session had started at the school from June 13, the school, which is a unique feature of the university campus, was facing a crisis of sorts when it came to running classes.
It is worth mentioning here that country’s first deputy prime minister and home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel had studied for a brief period at this century old school.

There are only five teachers in primary section in Gujarati medium to teach eight classes against the requirement of at least 10 teachers considering one teacher for each class and two extra teachers.
At the same time, the English medium which is run on non-granted basis is facing shortage of three teachers after three teachers submitted their resignation over misinterpretation of the agreement on which they were hired.
The university officials have now issued a notification inviting applications for 21 temporary posts in English medium and five temporary positions in Gujarati medium.
The last date of submitting applications is July 3 after which the interview process will be carried out. As the appointment process got delayed, the temporary teachers were given an extension upto July 31.
In absence of this teachers, the school would have eventually closed.
