MSU issues directive on leaves

Vadodara: MS University, it seems, is struggling with widespread absenteeism in its faculties and colleges.
University’s top brass has issued a directive to all deans, principals and head of institutions to get their leaves approved from the competent authority prior to availing it.
MSU’s officiating registrar Dr K M Chudasama has issued a circular to deans of all faculties, principals of all colleges and heads of institutions regarding granting leaves except sick leaves.
“I am being directed to inform the deans of all faculties, principals and heads of institutions that all your leaves (except sick leave) should be approved from the competent authority prior to availing it and submit the approved leave report to the ADE section,” the circular states. TNN
