3 thieves held, gold, silver and bikes seized

Mysuru: The city police have arrested three persons on the charge of stealing and seized gold and silver ornaments worth Rs.15 lakh from them.
Among the seized goods were 280 gm of gold ornaments, 20 gm of silver and three two-wheelers, the police said on Sunday.
Two persons were arrested from Bannimantap and another gang member was nabbed in Mandya.
The gang was involved in house break-ins and two-wheeler thefts in Mysuru, Bengaluru and Hassan.
With the arrest of the three, six theft cases in Mysuru, Bengaluru and Hassan have been solved, the police said, adding that one of the accused was involved in 10 cases.
They were arrested earlier by Mysuru police and had become friends while in prison, the police said.
