Two killed in Bihar's Nalanda district

BIHARSHARIF: At least two people, including a woman, were shot dead and two others sustained bullet injuries in separate incidents in Nalanda on Sunday.
A man allegedly spread bullets on a family in which a woman died on the spot and her two relatives, including a minor girl, were injured. According to police sources, one Mukesh Kumar of Isua village under the Sarmera police station area in the district had eloped with a village girl in 2017.Families of the couple often fought with each other over this since then.
On Sunday, they fought again and in a fit of rage, Mukesh’s brother Dablu Ram took out a pistol and sprayed bullets on the family of his brother’s wife. One Sonam Devi (45) died on the spot. In another incident, one Ajay Kumar of Trilok Bigha village under Hilsa police station, allegedly shot dead his cousin, Jaggu Kumar, on Sunday.
