Four held for torturing student in Gujarat

RAJKOT: A 21-year-old college student was allegedly subjected to torture by four people who stripped him naked and made his video.
The student had downloaded a gay chatting app on his phone two days ago and got a message from a person. The person asked him to meet at KKV Chowk on Sunday noon. After the student agreed, they met and the accused told him to accompany to his room.When they went to the room near Nanavati Chowk, three people were already present there. They stripped him and took away his mobile, cash and bike keys.
"The four then made a video of the student and forced him to say that he kept relationship with young boys using this app and that he would never indulge in such acts again," said AB Jadeja, inspector, University Road police station. The accused called up his family and demanded Rs 50,000. When the kin said they did not have so much money, the four released the student. However, they again called and asked for Rs 20,000.
The cops arrested the four people identified as Afrid Qadri, Aman Qadri, Sohil Qadri and Bhargav Dabhi and booked them extortion and illegal confinement.
