After the gruesome murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi emerged as the key accused in the case. Now, the gangster's father has approached Supreme Court and complained that lawyers in Punjab had boycotted his son and hence unable to receive any legal assistance in Punjab's Mansa. However, on hearing, the court asked the petitioner to approach the high court and seek legal redressal. Bishnoi's father also opposed the Punjab transit remand, to which the court said, 'Since Punjab Police are investigating the case, it is at a very nascent stage. It would not be appropriate for this court to interfere at this stage.' For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
