Sajal Aly’s brother, Aly Syed recently shared a Wikipedia snafu after he was misnamed by the internet and confused with popular boxer, Mohammad Ali.
Social media were in fits when a video showing how Google had misnamed Sajal’s brother, started making rounds. In the video, Instgrammer Wajahat Naseer is seen searching Sajal’s name to show what, or more-so who Google had named her brother as.
Zooming into the names of siblings mentioned, he pointed out that instead of Aly Syed, the name mentioned was Muhammad Ali. Wajahat then went on to click the images, only to find pictures of the famous boxer, Muhammad Ali. The post was captioned, “When Google is drunk.”
To make matters even more hilarious, Wajahat photoshopped a picture, putting Sajal and the boxer’s face onto it to make it seem like they have a picture together.
He ended the video with a famous meme template that he wrote ‘Google’ on from the movie Gangaajal. In the meme, the actor Daroga Magniram playing the role of a police officer says, “Bhaari mistake ho gaya sir, aik dum blunder hogaya,” (I made a huge mistake sir, it's a complete blunder)”, insinuating that Google had made a huge mistake misnaming the actor’s brother!
