Vizianagaram and Chipurupalli railway stations display locally manufactured jute products
Visakhapatnam, June 28 (KNN) Under the 'One Station, One Product' initiative, Vizianagaram and Chipurupalli railway stations have installed handicrafts kiosks displaying jute products of 'Gogu Kiranalu Producers', a local jute products manufacturing unit.
A wide variety of jute products like bags, holders, laptop bags, canvas and cloth are showcased at the stalls.
It was inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager Anup Satpathy inaugurated on Monday through video conferencing.
He told the artisans that Visakhapatnam division is committed in promoting local recognised handicrafts and artisans associations.
The division had initiated such promotional steps at Visakhapatnam, Rayagada, Jagdalpur, Duvvada and Paralakhemundi stations earlier.
ADRM (Operations) Manoj Kumar Sahoo; Senior Divisional Commercial Manager A.K. Tripathi, Senior DCM -II Preethi Rana and Divisional Commercial Manager Urvashi Kumari participated through video conferencing. (KNN Bureau)
