Le’Veon Bell is set to answer the bell.

The former Michigan State star and 3-time Pro Bowl running back has signed a contract to fight future NFL Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson in a boxing match, according to ESPN.

The exhibition will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on July 30.

Peterson and Bell will meet on the undercard of Social Gloves 2, an event promoted by YouTube star and former Central Michigan basketball player Austin McBroom.

McBroom will take on fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in the main event. Rapper Blueface will also fight former NBA player Nick Young on the undercard, ESPN reported.

The deal continues a trend of notable athletes and social media stars trying their hand at boxing. Frank Gore, another onetime All-Pro NFL running back, fought NBA All-Star Deron Williams in an exhibition on the December undercard of Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley 2. Gore then made his pro debut in May and recorded a fourth-round knockout.

Bell, 30, is a free agent. He played eight games last season (five with the Baltimore Ravens and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).

He’s best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who whom he gained more than 5,000 yards rushing and scored 42 total touchdowns between 2013 and 2017.

He was a first team All-American at Michigan State in 2012.
