THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has informed that it would finish the pipeline works before July 15 and would hand over the road works to the Kerala Road Fund Board (KRFB).
The works are underway to lay a new pipeline from the Observatory to Paris Road and from Vanross Junction to Oottukuzhy Road.
The decision to hand over the road works after the completion of laying new pipelines was taken as part of the discussion held between KRFB CEO Samba Siva Rao and KWA managing director Venkatesapathy S.
There were complaints that digging of road for the pipeline installation led to the poor condition of roads in these areas.
