The chancellor’s secretariat on Tuesday directed the top officials of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University (KSDSU) to ensure regular teaching and examinations in the university in the larger interest of the students.

PATNA: The chancellor’s secretariat on Tuesday directed the top officials of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University (KSDSU) to ensure regular teaching and examinations in the university in the larger interest of the students.
At a meeting of these officials, including the vice-chancellor, pro-vice-chancellor and registrar held at Raj Bhavan, Robert L Chongthu, principal secretary to the governor, said all efforts should be made to regularize the academic calendar by holding examinations on time and clearing the backlog of pending examinations.
He said all the university officials should accord top priority to the students’ welfare and work in better coordination among themselves.
The meeting discussed in detail the various problems faced by the university and the strategy for resolving them. The meeting was convened in the light of the recent complaints made by the people’s representatives regarding various irregularities prevailing in the university, sources said.
