Jharkhand: Suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal’s bail petition deferred till July 4
The hearing on the bail petition of suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal was adjourned after the enforcement directorate’s (ED) advocate sought time to file a reply on Tuesday. Singhal’s advocate Vishwajit Mukherjee said, “The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed on July 4.

RANCHI: The hearing on the bail petition of suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal was adjourned after the enforcement directorate’s (ED) advocate sought time to file a reply on Tuesday.
Singhal’s advocate Vishwajit Mukherjee said, “The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed on July 4. The bail petition seeking Pooja Singhal’s release on health grounds was filed on Monday.”
The ED had arrested Singhal on May 11 in connection with the multi-crore MNREGA scam and money laundering.She into remand for 14 days after which she was sent to the Birsa Munda Central jail on May 25.
Singhal’s advocate Vishwajit Mukherjee said, “The next date of hearing in the case has been fixed on July 4. The bail petition seeking Pooja Singhal’s release on health grounds was filed on Monday.”
