Former Mumbai mayor Kishori Pednekar gets threat letter, files complaint

MUMBAI: Former Mumbai mayor Kishori Pednekar on Wednesday said she has filed a complaint with police after receiving a threat letter in the morning.

Last year in December too, the former mayor of Mumbai had received a threat letter.
The letter was replete with vulgar language, and warned her that she, along with her son and husband, would be killed once "a new government" comes to power, Pednekar said.

The letter received by Pednekar on Wednesday is from the same address and from a person named Vijendra Mhatre, the last year's letter too was sent by him only.
