Owaisi demands Nupur Sharma’s arrest over Udaipur killing; netizens call him ‘hypocrite’

On the demand of the arrest of Nupur Sharma, netizens said he is ‘hyporcite’ as he doesn’t talk about his own brother who abused Hindu Gods.

New Delhi: In a major setback to AIMIM, four out of its five MLAs left the party to join the opposition party, RJD led by Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday. The latest development came just a few hours after AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi condemn the Udaipur incident and demanded the arrest of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

”I strongly condemn the Udaipur incident…We hope the Rajasthan government takes strict action. Had the police been more alert, this would not have happened…Radicalisation is spreading…Nupur Sharma should be arrested; mere suspension was not enough,” wrote AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

”Radicalisation is spreading…mere suspension was not enough,” added Owaisi.

However, his reaction to the Udaipur’s tailor killing invited a lot of criticism on social media. On the demand of the arrest of Nupur Sharma, netizens said he is ‘hyporcite’ as he doesn’t talk about his own brother who abused Hindu Gods.

On the demand of the BJP leader’s arrest of Owaisi, a Twitter user asked him to go back to Bihar save his party instead of speaking nonsense.

”Does he have any right to condemn this barbaric murder? He is one of the instigators of this kind of terror,” wrote a user namely aroona Gadhavi on Twitter.

”It happened coz Kanhaiyalal lived in a @INCIndia ruled state. Let 2. Hindu organizations must compensate for Kanhaiyalal’s family livinghood. 3. On social media likes of #AsaduddinOwaisi should be countered quickly and effectively,” wrote another user.

In Bihar, AIMIM has now only left 1 MLA who is the state president of the party. The four MLAs who left the AIMIM are: Muhammad Izhar Asfi, Shahnabaz Alam, Ruknddin Ahmed, and Anzar Naimi.

On the joining of the RJD, Tejashwi Yadav said, ”We welcome them. Now we are the largest party in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.”
