East Coast Railway restores services of six pairs of trains

BHUBANESWAR: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday decided to restore services of six pairs of trains in its jurisdiction. During his recent Odisha visit, Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had announced to restore services of four pairs of trains.
These trains were Puri-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Puri Express, Puri-Paradip-Puri Express, Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack MEMU Special, Visakhapatnam-Koraput-Visakhapatnam Intercity, Visakhapatnam-Berhampur-Visakhapatnam Express, Palasa-Cuttack-Palasa Passenger Special and Puri-Talcher-Puri MEMU Special.

Meanwhile, ECoR has now achieved 100 percent compliance of linen service on its originating trains. This facility in all the 63 trains originating from ECoR jurisdiction has been resumed. Linen services in trains were withdrawn to break the chain of Covid-19 infection.
