HOUSE BILL 140
This law enacts the "Ballot Uniformity and Transparency Act" to modify the form of election notices and ballot language for property tax levies.

SENATE BILL 61
This bill regards regarding condominiums, planned community properties, and new communities. The legislation will prohibit homeowners associations (HOA) from blocking an individual’s ability to install solar panels, as long as the HOA does not own or maintain the roof or exterior walls where the panels will be placed. Sub. S. B. 61 also includes a number of provisions to boost consumer protections, clean up cumbersome language and increase overall efficiency in communication between associations and their members.

This bill regards workers' compensation for employees who work from home and other changes to the Workers' Compensation Law. Under the bill, work-from-home employees, who sustain an injury while working, qualify for workers’ compensation if the employee meets three criteria.

- The employee’s injury or disability was caused by a special hazard of the employee’s employment activity
- The employee’s injury or disability is sustained in the course of an activity undertaken by the employee for the exclusive benefit of the employer
